"In an ancient world, time is a constant traveling companion."
Afterwards the journey seemed endless compared to the distance specified on the signposts. Just as if time has stopped, just as if I was moving in place, though physically I was moving fast down the road. Maybe the landscape was monotonous, maybe I was tired of the sun and lack of sleep or maybe I just got suggested. Maybe my thoughts stopped the time. Maybe I reached the destination eventually just because I gave up thinking about it. The time.
The text below was created as a response to one of my friend's reflections on the words cited. It is a sort of reflection on life in contemporary world - the way technology influences our sense of time and space, the way it influences our own sense of being and participating in shaping the world around us, finally can we function without it and how does it influence our sense of perception of ourselves and the world around us. The text was originally published in Polish. I will translate it into English soon. For the time being you have to help yourself with the faulty resources of Google Translator. Trust me, it is not that badly written as you will have it translated. Enjoy!
