They say all roads lead to Rome. Well, I do surely know all roads that lead to my red currant destination now. I feel so as if I had taken a tour around the globe to get there and it was all because of one intersection in renovation. After taking another way and ending back at the same intersection but from a different side I found the chef of the works, approached him with a smile on my face and asked: "I beg you, bless me with the knowledge how to get through". It would probably never had taken such a soft and pleasant turn if I were in a hurry. This time the guy was lucky and I have not even told him off for not placing any information about the works and detour by the road. We have only exchanged smiles, he explained the way and I went off. How did I manage to take all that loss of time, money and petrol? I just cannot tell. The most important thing was that I finally got to my destination. Still I had no guarantee all that trip would pay off, but the result has overgrown all my expectations. I came back with a bag full of red currant. I guess it means that this year I will give up on black currant, I have more than enough forest fruits. Still someone has to remove the tails from 5 kilos of fruit! Good night and good luck!
